I (Andy Steventon) am an amateur musician and songwriter, based in Zaragoza (Spain) since 2002.

My musical influences are extremely varied and eclectic, as is reflected in the different styles that can be heard in my songs.
To sum it up, I LOVE GREAT MUSIC FROM ANY GENRE!!

I grew up in a musical family listening to my parents music, mainly Carole King, Elton John, Dire Straits, Iona, Beatles. When in to my teens I started listening to Brit Pop bands (Oasis, Blur, Manic Street Preachers, Stereophonics...) and later got into some slightly different / heavier stuff such as Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Radiohead, Skunk Anansie, Foo Fighters, Placebo, Deftones, Silver Chair, Rage against the Machine, Alter Bridge etc.
In my quest to improve my guitar playing abilities I´ve also listened to a lot of great artists such as John Mayer, Tommy Emmanuel, John Petrucci, Guthrie Govan etc. etc. and due to playing in covers bands I´ve had lots of exposure to a wide range of material from Adele, Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morrisette, Passenger, REM, Bob Marley, Incubus, Jamiroquai, The Police, Amy Winehouse and hundreds of other artists.

Following my arrival in Zaragoza I played guitar for several years in a covers band called BAGS, mainly playing RHCP and other funk/rock material which was great fun.
Currently I have a young family and less time, so I´m concentrating more on my songwriting and the occasional covers gig with my acoustic duo "2-Acu5tic" with my friend Gaz Rackham, a professional bass player also based in Zaragoza.
